Hisatsune was the Rookie of the Year on the DP World Tour in 2023 after he put together a very impressive season at age 21 that included 16 top-25 finishes and a win at the Cazoo Open de France. Hisatsune was the 10th and final qualifier for a PGA Tour card via Race to Dubai standings. He actually had four starts on the PGA Tour in 2022-23 and finished top-12 in three of them. There is certainly a lot of upside here as Hisatsune ranked 12th in scoring average and eighth in SG: Total on the DPWT. Hisatsune shot a four-under 67 on Sunday at the PGA Championship to tie for 18th place at the event.

Hisatsune shot a 67 in back-to-back rounds to end his tournament, climbing six spots on the leaderboard Sunday by shooting five birdies to just one bogey. Hisatsune overcame poor play with his driver by ranking 12th in SG: Approach-to-green and 17th in SG: Putting with the top-20 finish being his second over his last three events. Hisatsune is in the field for this week's Charles Schwab Challenge.
