Vasquez has signed his first professional contract with Philadelphia, the club announced Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Vasquez is moving to the MLS from Philadelphia Union II, as he has signed a homegrown contract through the 2027 season, holding an option for 2028. He has been a part of the academy system since 2022, starting in 18 of his 22 appearances with Philadelphia Union II last campaign. He will most likely continue to serve with the reserve team for the rest of the season, not seeing time with the first team unless in dire need due to injuries.
