Clippers Thump Hornets, 130-118
The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 130-118, at Spectrum Center on Sunday evening.

The Clippers (47-27) didn't waste any time getting the jump on the non-contending Hornets (18-56), building a 31-25 lead through one. Los Angeles doubled up its advantage before halftime, and Charlotte was only able to make a one-point dent in its deficit ahead of the final period. The visitors then kept the pressure on in the fourth, and when the hosts got as close as six points, L.A. finished on a 19-13 run over the final 4:50 to notch the double-digit victory.

Paul George led the Clippers with 41 points, adding seven rebounds, four assists and one steal. Ivica Zubac generated a 24-point, 12-rebound double-double that included one assist and three blocks. Kawhi Leonard furnished 23 points, five boards and two assists. Norman Powell netted 16 points, while Russell Westbrook delivered 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Miles Bridges paced the Hornets with 33 points, complementing them with seven rebounds and three assists. Brandon Miller supplied 22 points, six boards, four assists and one block. Grant Williams registered 18 points, five rebounds and five assists. Davis Bertans supplied 15 points, two boards and one assist. Vasilije Mecic recorded a 10-point, 13-assist double-double that included five rebounds and one steal.

The Clippers remain on the road and visit the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday night, while the Hornets remain home and host the Boston Celtics on Monday night.
